Our Story
The idea for Rayni came from firsthand frustration. Sakshi spent years working alongside top physicists at Fermilab, watching brilliant researchers waste countless hours searching through 500-page manuals, waiting days for manufacturer support, or relying on the one person in the lab who happened to remember how to fix a particular issue.
She teamed up with Divyanshu, who had built enterprise platforms serving millions at CrowdStrike and Visa, and Shahadat, who had sold and supported instruments in the field at MOBILion Systems. Together, they had the rare combination: deep scientific empathy, enterprise engineering, and instrument industry experience.
They built Rayni to be different: an AI that only answers from verified sources, cites every claim, and learns your lab's specific procedures. Their unique industry fit led to Rayni winning the New Venture Challenge, a top-ranked accelerator in the nation (Grubhub, Venmo, Simple Mills).
